K-palette 1 day tattoo real lasting eyeliners review

Every girl needs a good quality black eyeliner in their makeup bag~ one that is willing to stay on our eyes through important moments of our lives without smudging and making us look like kung fu pandas.  The K-palette 1 day tattoo real lasting eyeliners are able to do just that.  i have been wanting to try these for a while now, but since they are quite hard to get a hold of in canada, and rather pricy, i decide to put it off. This is until my dearest cousin NANA came back from japan last summer and was nice enough to help get it for me :3 i asked her to help me get both the pencil and liquid versions of them and have been using them on most days that I feel like putting make up on~

Looking back, I found that I used the liquid liner more just because it allowed me to make very fine, precise lines.  Especially when i wanted go for the winged liner look~ It's also really good at staying put for the entire day.  But the downside is that it is just not quite as black as i want it to be, and also dries out quite quickly.  (I have been using this a lesser amount of time compared to my stila liquid liner, but that one is still going strong.)  On the other hand, the pencil liner really lives up to its name and does not budge after u apply it.  This can definitely be a good and bad thing.  The advantage is pretty obvious, but it can be a bad thing because it makes it hard to achieve the smokey eye look cuz it just wouldn't smudge.  The pencil liner is also quite water proof, as u can see from the picture below:

pencil on the left and liquid on the right~ The liquid does not come out that thick i promise, it's just because it is almost drying out that i had to draw harder on my hand...the actual thickness is about 1/4 of that line i drew above. sorry for it being a bit misleading ^^"

and thennnnnnnn after some epic rubbing on my hand...

So as you can see the pencil one totally outlasted the liquid one~  They are both good eyeliners in my opinion, but just make sure u have a good eye make up remover to go along with these, or else it would take a while before they would come off.~ over all i would give these eyeliners a 8.5/10 and would definitely repurchase if i could get my hands on them! ヽ(*・ω・)ノ

Seche Vite dry fast top coat review

Thank God finals are finally over, and i can go back to posting more ;)  I was at the states last weekend, and our routine visit to walmart has brought me to find the cure for my nail chipping madnesss!! OMG i'm so glad that i found the Seche Vite dry fast top coat!!! I know this top coat has gotten a lot of hype, and i finally know why >:D  When i read on the back of the package, it says that "Seche Vite is unique in its application over wet nail polish".  i was a little skeptical and was worried that it will not only fail at that, but would also ruin the top coat by getting some of the color onto the brush.  So for my first nail i waited for like 30 seconds before applying it, and i realized that it really did not drag onto the nail polish underneath.  Then of course i got braver, and did it with less and less time in between for drying....and by my 10th nail, i have come to the conclusion that....this is magic in a bottle. o.o This top coat will now forever be my manicure-loving-nails's BFF ♥

So to sum up, i have listed the likes and dislikes i have of this product :)
LIKES:
✔THAT U CAN APPLY IT ON TOP OF WET NAIL POLISH
✔dries SUPER quick
✔High glossy finish
✔Brings out the true color of the nail polish
✔ABSOLUTE time saver
✔The right consistency, making it easy to apply

DISLIKES:
✖ The smell is a little stronger compared to other nail polishes, but i certainly don't mind it...since i like the smell of sharpies anyway LOL *dun judge*
✖ Pricy- i got this top coat for about 10 bucks us dollars, it is quite expensive compared to other top coats, but for the amazing results u get, i definitely think it's worth the investment!

Spring has made me fall in love with soft pastel colors again.  I find this minty green color is just perfection =)  Oh yea, the nails also remind me... happy belated Easter everyone!! :3

Deborah Lippmann nail polish review

hi sweet potato pies! i'm here today to go crazy about the Deborah Lippmann nail polishes.  Whenever i go for short day trips to the states and pass by Nordstrom, I always get fascinated by the unique colors that Deborah Lippmann comes out with, but  I've never considered buying them before because they are a bit too expensive....well fine not a bit, but really expensive for a bottle of nail polish.  Typically, they retail for about $16-20 USD.  But since they were having a set of three on sale for around 40 dollars, so i jumped at the good deal and bought my first ever purchase of Deborah Lippmann nail polishes.
The set includes (from right to left) Naked- a nude beige color.  Don't Tell Mama- a very dark mood ring green color, with a greenish blue metallic undertone. and lastly, Across the universe- a sheer navy blue color with huge amount of big green and blue glitter.  Seriously, this nail polish is the prettiest nail polish i've ever seen in my entire life!! after i put it on, i would not be able to stop staring at my nails o.O"
Naked- nothing too special about this one, but its a very good color for every day wear or as a base color with a sheer glitter nail polish over top of it.  Smooth and easy application and dries super quick :)

Don't Tell Mama-  After applying this on your nails, it almost appears black.  It's super opaque, but you can only see the greenish blue metallic undertone under the light.
Across the Universe- words cannot describe how much i LOVE this nail polish!!! This is not like one of those nail polishes that look really pigmented in the bottle, but turn out to be super sheer and watery.  In the case of this one...WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET <3  It dries to a gel like finish, and even 2 coats is going to make it look quite pigmented and form a gel nail like appearance.  Because of this nail polish, i might consider trying more of Deborah Lippmann's glitter nail polishes ★==
Here's a swatch of Don't Tell Mama and Across the Universe.  (from left to right this time ^^")  Don't tell mama, Across the Universe and the last one is a combination of the two.  Omg i love this combination, really does make your nails actually look like the universe  ☄
The combination is so pretty that i painted all of my nails this color after i finished swatching :D  But the only bad thing about this polish is that it's a pain in the ass to take off.  I guess this goes for all glitter polishes, so i will put up with it >:/ OK time to confess again, while i was picking up this set, i couldn't resist and bought one more even though it was not on sale ARGH. omg wallet damage.  But this one is just irresistible...i mean look at it!!!
This one is called Boom Boom Pow.  It's packed with gold glitter and apparently it contains 24KG gold dust.  Like across the universe, this one is very opaque too, and it just takes about 2 coats to get the effect as seen on the bottle!!  But since it contains 24kg gold flecks, i choose to use it sparingly LOL.  I would apply this over Naked and the results are still just as amazing.  I don't have any more blank nails to swatch for you, but i swatched it on paper for you, hopefully it will give you an idea of what they look like.
On the left is boom boom pow, and on the right is naked with boom boom pow on top of it! Very glamorous effect <3  I think i'm kinda in love with these, so stay tuned for more reviews :3

lush catastrophe cosmetic face mask review

After having 2 exams in 3 days, major damage control is needed for my skin.  It`s ironic that studying about brain cells can kill off so many of my own brain cells. no joke :@ With my lack of sleep and the stress of cramming for exams, my skin had gotten really dull and tired looking.  For that i have turned to the lush catastrophe cosmetic face mask.  I usually like to do this mask (or any other mask for that matter) after using the conair spa face steamer.  This helps to open up the pores and draw out any gross dirt and impurities and makes ur skin soft like a freshly peeled hard boiled egg :3  This also helps to enhance the effectiveness of the masks and products that you are going to use afterwards :D  so anyway, back to the mask.  This blueberry infused mask claims that "the blue bulbs are packed with vitamins, with a gentle calamine base to cleanse the skin without stripping it of it's natural oils."  For a quick go to mask, I felt that this mask did a reasonable job in deep cleansing my skin as it did look less irritated and felt fresher afterwards.  But like most other face masks,  the effects only lasted for like less than a day or so.  I suggest to use these before going to bed when you have a special event or date the next day...you will definitely feel a difference when you wake up the next morning ;)

LIKES:
✔The smell- smells like freshly ground blueberries...and a hint of black current?
✔Deep cleaning effect- love the cool tingly feeling as the mask hardens.
✔Makes skin smoother
✔Matifies skin
✔Reduces redness

DISLIKES:
✖Messy application- thick and hard to apply. drags on the skit a bit. careful. dun go near your delicate eye areas!
✖Ash like fall out after the mask dries - do not touch your face as the mask dries, you will get white ash all over ur clothes like you have dandruff @@~
✖Short shelf life- all the ingredients are natural and freshly made, therefore do not last that long.
✖Hard to get a hold of-  Since these masks are always made fresh, they are not available for sale on their website and they only come to the store like once a week.  And every time they are sold out within like a couple of days.  So if you want to look for a specific mask, like this one, its better to call and check with your local lush stores before u go in all excited and just end up with disappointment.

To sum up, the likes > the dislikes, and i did enjoy this mask as a treat for my post-examified skin, but it's not something that i absolutely LOVE and would rave about.  When i go to lush next time, i would much rather look into the other face masks that i haven't tried, because i am still just new to the lush brand but am totally intrigued by just how fresh and organic all their masks are.  and o yea remember to keep all your black tubs after u finish your masks because if u bring back 5 black pots, lush will give you the 6th one free!! hell yea, now who doesn't love free shit <3
